The hanging garden

The hanging garden hosts a variegated flora that blooms with marvelous flowers in the spring months: camellia, hydrangeas, a very fragrant and luxuriant wisteria and an American vine that cover the surrounding wall.

The large garden is accessed directly from the master bedroom and from the living room, it receives sunlight throughout the day, but retains shady and ventilated areas where guests can cool off and relax during the summer days.

At the center of the hanging garden is the ancient well which originally provided drinking water to the inhabitants of the house.

The well is not the only reference to the history of Casa Chiavassa, in fact, in the hanging garden there is a small portico with brick arches preserved from the original structure.
